Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability
Safe today. Sustainable tomorrow.
At Cestos Drilling, safety is embedded in our operational culture and sustainability is part of every proposal. We adhere to all recommended safety standards, conduct regular training and manage our environmental and community impact responsibly across every program.

Our Approach
Six pillars of our safety culture.
Zero Harm Culture
Every CESTOS employee, contractor and visitor is empowered to stop work immediately if they identify an unsafe condition, with no questions asked and no repercussions.
Safety Inductions
Our goal is that no one enters a CESTOS site without completing a full site-specific safety induction.
Hazard Identification
Daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) forms are completed before every task. Workers participate directly in identifying and mitigating site-specific risks each shift.
Incident Reporting
All incidents, near-misses and hazard observations are reported without exception. Our open reporting culture ensures continuous learning and systemic improvement.
Training & Competency
Ongoing training and competency development programs to ensure every crew member is well-trained, properly equipped and prepared to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Emergency Response
Each site maintains a site-specific Emergency Response Plan with regular drills, medical evacuation protocols and direct communication to the nearest medical facility.
HSE Policy
No task is so urgent that it cannot be done safely.
This is the principle that governs every CESTOS site. Our HSE management system is designed to promote safe operations, protect our people and maintain high standards across all our activities.
All sites operate under a documented Safety Management Plan (SMP) and site supervisors hold daily toolbox talks to ensure emerging risks are communicated and understood by the entire crew before work commences.
"We send our people home in the same condition they arrived. Every day, on every site, that is our non-negotiable commitment."

Our ESG Framework
Commitments that guide every program.
Environmental Stewardship
Every CESTOS program operates under an Environmental Management Plan. We minimize land disturbance, manage water use responsibly and restore sites on completion.
Community Investment
We prioritize local hiring, engage communities before entering any area and maintain open grievance channels throughout every program.
Waste Minimisation
Drill cuttings, spent chemicals and camp waste are managed under strict protocols, segregated and disposed of responsibly.
Water Stewardship
Our programs operate closed-loop drilling fluid systems where possible. Water sources, rivers and community water supplies near our sites are monitored and protected.
Biodiversity Protection
Site selection and access road planning actively avoids protected forest areas. Land disturbance is minimized and native vegetation is restored at program close.
Community
Our communities are our partners, not our neighbours.
Mineral exploration only succeeds where trust is established and maintained.
Local Employment First
A majority of all site personnel on CESTOS programs are sourced from host communities and neighboring areas, providing direct economic benefit and skills transfer.
Educational Support
CESTOS provides scholarship support to students in various communities across all operating areas.
Infrastructure Contributions
Where programs are located near rural communities, CESTOS contributes to road access improvements, water supply enhancements and community facility upgrades.
